Employer Gifts
Did you know?
In 2025, the total value of physical gifts and other minor staff benefits may amount to up to DKK 1,400 without being taxed.
A special rule applies to Christmas gifts:
Even if the total value of all benefits exceeds DKK 1,400, the Christmas gift remains tax-free as long as its value does not exceed DKK 1,000.

Workwear and work gear
Staff benefits – including workwear and equipment for everyday professional use – may be completely exempt from VAT, provided they are used 100% for business purposes.
The threshold for work-related benefits is DKK 7,300 per employee per year (2025).
This limit applies per employee across the entire group and must be assessed at group level if the employee receives benefits from multiple companies within the same corporate group.
Check with your accountant to see if this applies to your company.
