Hymness takes its inspiration from 'The New Nordic', which with deep roots in our Nordic nature, culture and traditions takes the best from what we come from - simplifies it and gives it a contemporary relevance.
'The New Nordic' balances functional aesthetics with responsible and conscious choices throughout the process. A sensual and holistic understanding of seeing things in a larger perspective - always with deep respect for good craftsmanship and quality.
ABOUT HYMN
Hymness was started by designer & product developer, Stina Birthe, who since 2007 has created products for both large and small brands in Denmark and Scandinavia.
After many years in the fashion industry, with design, concept development, sourcing and production as a regular part of everyday life, it was time to pursue his own vision.
Since February 2020, Hymness has been sold to customers around the world.
THE MISSION
At Hymness Studio, we create everyday practical bags and accessories of high quality and responsibility throughout the entire process – from idea to finished product. Hymness is for you who appreciate good design where good values and responsible production go hand in hand with the quality you buy.
THE PRODUCTS
Bags are our primary product and the focal point when we develop complementary products for our universe.
Our collections consist of recognizable and elaborate designs, in selected and tested materials that we can stand behind. In addition, we also make room for creative input with limited and special editions of our well-known designs.
THE CONCEPT
Our mission is to create high-quality products with a slow-fashion mindset.
With production in Europe, we have created a flexible flow with timeless classics - without fixed seasons.
