Leopard printed scarf in Linen and Eri-silk blend. 100 % handspun, handwoven, and hand frayed by Indian artisans, making a perfect unperfect product. The authentic structure from the handspun yarn adds a soul and makes each piece unique.
Eri silk has a woolen characteristic compared with the silks that normally are used in fashion. Eri silk is collected by hand, and without killing the moths in the process.
The mix of linen and Eri silk adds a beautiful melange feel when dying the scarf because the fibers obtain the color differently. This is a natural way of creating melange.

Handwoven by Indian artisans / Handloom work
This scarf is handwoven by indian artisans in a blend of linen and silk, which leaves you with a soft and structured scarf. Both fibers are 100% natural and origins from Indian farmers.
Eri silk is renowned as the fabric of humanity as the harvest does not kill the butterflies, as the silk is made of empty cocoons.
How to wash your linen/silk scarf
Wash in cold or lukewarm water, separately from other items, with gentle, PH-neutral soap. After wash, dry flat on a towel or dry hanging in the fresh air.
The linen fiber will make your scarf wrinkle after wash, but you can iron on low heat, minding the silk fiber.
The characteristic uneven structure that origins from the handmade processes are what makes each piece unique. No scarf is the same. The linen fiber is machine-spun, but the Eri Silk is handspun, which leaves the yarn with natural bumps.
Never pull the yarn bump, as it will leave visible marks on the weave. Instead, gently cut off the unwanted bulge with a small scissor.
The scarf will naturally get softer, when you start using it. Your body temperature will soften the fibers.
